An intense, floral, aquatic fragrance for women
Issey Miyake's designs have always been inspired by creative encounters.
Building on this, perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie had an enriching meeting with Alexis Rosenfeld, founder of the ocean exploration project 1Ocean. Project 1Ocean is an underwater exploration project founded by photographer Alexis Rosenfeld in collaboration with UNESCO. The goal is to explore and document the ocean in order to raise awareness about the richness and preservation of the ocean's biodiversity.
The meeting of these two worlds led to the creation of this ocean-inspired fragrance.
The iconic, floral, aquatic notes of L'Eau d'Issey are enhanced by a Posidonia accord. This composition, created especially for the fragrance, is an ode to the underwater Posidonia meadows that act as the lungs of the sea. As if caressed by sunlight, these soft, floral, green notes in the heart of the perfume are illuminated by radiant ylang-ylang. As the fragrance dries on the skin, warm vanilla dives deep into the base of the scent, immersing you in its sensual fragrance trail.

For this intense new fragrance, the iconic L'Eau d'Issey perfume bottle has been given a new look with a design that mirrors the silver reflections of the ocean.
Each 100% wooden cap has a deep silver hue and is crafted from a single piece of wood, eliminating the need for plastic.
